What waiting periods apply to the Getup Atom Funeral Plan

A waiting period is a period of time in which an insured life is not insured for some or all
events. Waiting periods apply to each insured life. The waiting period starts from the first day
of the month in which we receive your first premium.

The waiting periods on all GetUp Atom benefits are as follows:

• There is no waiting period for accidental death claims.
• There is a six month waiting period for death by natural causes.
• There is a one year waiting period for death by suicide.
